Q. What
happens if I don't have an email address? A.
aGQa is a web-based system that
encourages consumers to have an email address in order to fully benefit
from all the features of aGQa. However, if you do not have an email
address, you can register with a phone number to access your account via
the internet. Without access to email, you are not able to receive
important service notices from aGQa. aGQa encourages you to obtain an
email address through free providers such as Google, Hotmail or Yahoo for
you to fully benefit from aGQa's features.

Q. What do
I do if I forget my username or password? A.
A prompt on the Login page at www.aGQa.com will cue you to enter
your email address to recognize you as a user. Once completed, aGQa will
email you your login information.

Q. I read
about aGQa offering automated appraisal updates; how do I receive one?
A. aGQa
will contact you automatically once a year to see if you are interested in
having any of your appraisals updated. There are two ways to update your
appraisals. First, you can elect to use the average increases and simply
order electronically directly from www.aGQa.com in the consumer section
listed as appraisal updates. aGQa will use the 5% average increase and you
will be charged $19.99. Or, you may bring your jewelry to your local aGQa
retailer and they will establish the new value precisely for your jewelry
and charge you according to their store pricing policy. Both choices give
you the option of receiving a new credit card size certificate and you can
easily send a new copy to your selected insurance company to update your
insurance information.

Q. Can I
get other jewelry I already own certified or appraised on the aGQa system?
A. aGQa offers
a remarkable and affordable appraisal program available at any of our
authorized retailers. Your previously owned jewelry can easily be
appraised and with each appraisal, you will receive a new aGQa certificate
with your jewelry's digital photo. You can also take advantage of all the
features and benefits of aGQa with your new certificate.

Q. Can I
have services performed on jewelry by another aGQa certified retailer
other than the one I purchased from? A.
Because aGQa is
committed to protecting your privacy, use this procedure when having your
jewelry repaired or cleaned and inspected at another aGQa certified
retailer other than your own personal jeweler. Only your personal jeweler
can view the items purchased at their location, so you may have to provide
the other retailer with more information in order for them to acknowledge
that you have a valid certificate. If you have your certificate, the
retailer will scan it or take the certificate number. Because the aGQa
system will recognize that the retailer is not the original one you
purchased jewelry from, the retailer will only be able to view a small
thumbnail picture of the item. The retailer will not be able to view any
of the information originally printed on the certificate or any of your
personal contact information. If you do not have your certificate, you
must provide the retailer with either your email address or phone number
and the security question and answer from your aGQa account. This allows
the retailer to bring up a small thumbnail picture of the item from your
account. The retailer will not be able to view any of the information
originally printed on the certificate or any of your personal information.
Once the security question and answer has been used and the retailer has
logged out of your jewelry item, aGQa will automatically change your
security question and answer for the safety of your privacy and email you
the new information, which can then be changed at your discretion. Should
the retailer attempt to log back in to your account, aGQa will
automatically lock your account after three login failures.

Q. Will my
email address or other personal information be given to any other person
or business? A.
aGQa stores all of our consumers' information in a secure database. You,
aGQa and your retail jeweler are the only individuals who have access to
your information. No information is ever shared or distributed, and you
will never receive unrelated solicitation materials. See the aGQa Privacy

Q. I'm not
entirely comfortable with some of the information on my aGQa Assurance
Certificate, who should I speak with about this to handle my concerns? A.
In the very
unlikely event of this happening, simply bring your aGQa Assurance
Certificate and the merchandise represented to the authorized retailer you
purchased from. aGQa will then conduct a thorough review of the
merchandise and the issued certificate to make a final judgment.

Q. What if
I lose my certificate? A. If you ever lose your certificate, you may log in to
www.aGQa.com with your secure username and password and order a
replacement card for only $9.99.
